If you are reading this post, thank a veteran. Many of the day-to-day amenities that we take for granted have been won on battlefields as well as on the backs of private citizens. Many have fought hard and long to ensure our safety and a reliable infrastructure of public works - running water, paved streets, electricity, education and information. Compare your life - at its lowest point - to the life of a resident in a third world country. We have so much to be thankful for and to honor.
